Kansas City, MO, April 29, 2026 — Katie Jo “KJ” Swaggert has been named the recipient of the Storytelling Chronicles Empowering Women in Logistics Award, presented by Kristy Knichel, President, CEO and Owner of Knichel Logistics, and proudly sponsored this year by Talento.
The award was announced at the Broker Carrier Summit in Kansas City, recognizing women who are making a meaningful impact across logistics, transportation, and supply chain through leadership, mentorship, innovation, and industry advocacy.
Swaggert, currently serving in Enterprise Alliances at ProShip, has built a reputation as a strategic connector, creative problem-solver, and champion for growth across the logistics ecosystem. Previously, as Director of Strategic Solutions at Redwood Logistics, she played a key role in advancing Redwood’s position as a modern 4PL by strengthening customer relationships, building high-value partnerships, improving operational efficiency, and helping elevate the Redwood Parcel Advisory solution in the parcel logistics market.
Her industry impact has already earned national recognition, including being named a 2024 Pros to Know Rising Star, underscoring her influence as an emerging leader shaping the future of supply chain.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Swaggert is deeply committed to mentorship and representation. She participated in Redwood’s first mentoring pilot program, supporting employees at different stages of their careers, and continues to serve her community as a freshman FAN coach in her local school district. She is also a dedicated youth sports coach, intentionally leading young male athletes so they can experience strong female leadership firsthand.
